Lander Strikers

Well the wind blew but it didn’t hinder the u-12 girls from playing hard. Two different girls each got a hat trick in both of the games, however, without an unrelenting defense and excellent passing by the midfield none of this would have happened. It took a while for the girls to warm up in the cold weather and wind but once they did, they got hot. In the first game the girls beat Casper U-11 5 goals to Casper’s 2. In the second game the girls scored thier first goal 12 minutes in and then scored 5 more, final Lander 6 Cheyenne 0. Although the Lander Jamboree and Casper Jamboree found the girls wanting, they hit their stride when it mattered most, when all the chips were on the table. Good job girls!!!
