Lander Strikers

Indoor soccer sessions have started this past weekend for Strikers or Strikers-to-be (Dec 7th).  We’ll meet every Sunday in the Auxilliary gym.  The schedule is:
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm U10/U12
3:45 pm - 5:30 pm U14

U12 Boys had a very good weekend in Casper continuing their work on moving the ball around the field.  But, it was pure hustle  and defensive prowess that allowed them to capture second.

U10 Boys regularly scheduled practice for Thursday 9/11 is cancelled due to South Open House.
The Casper Tournament schedule is updated as of 9/10/08 - please see attached.  Please refer to http://www.cyslonline.com/tournaments.html just in case it changes again.  Players should be on the field ready to play 30 minutes prior to start time for games.

We will be practicing on Tue, Wed & Thur from 5:30 until 7:00 at North Park the week of Sept 8.

The girls had a tough weekend but played hard. They lost to Casper in the first game and Gilette in the second. With only one sub, the girls got to play a lot of soccer. Keep persevering girls, never give up.

The girls played two remarkable games, taking it to their Jackson opponents. The girls won the first game 3-0 and the second game 6-0. It was a very physical game in which our girls overcame a multitude of fouls to continue to play fair and win. Way to go girls!!!!

The u-12 girls will be practicing on Tue, Wed and Thur from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the fields at LVHS. Once school starts and the season begins we will back off. Practice begins on Tue 8/12/2008. Bring cleats, socks, shin guards and plenty of water it is still pretty hot out.
