July, 1953 - December, 2007
This year Lander soccer lost one of it’s biggest supporters and pioneers with the passing of Fred Zebroski. As one of the co-founders of soccer in Lander in 1980, Fred began a legacy that has grown to currently provide physical recreation, character development and life-lessons through sport to over 300 Lander youth.
Over the past 27 years, Fred has been involved in all facets of youth soccer. He has been an organizer, coach, and referee. He has taken a U17 team to the National Championships in
This year Lander Strikers wishes to dedicate their 2nd Annual Lander Jamboree to the memory of Fred Zebroski. As a husband, father, entrepreneur, friend and committed member of the community, Fred’s contributions will live on. Specifically, we wish to honor his dedication and contributions to Lander soccer.
